We are looking for a Junior Information Security Technician. You will deal cross-functionally with everything related to information security. You will help the Information Security Specialist in the management, both internally and in the cloud, of everything to do with security: Firewall, Antivirus, Antispam. You will support external partners in Vulnerability Assessment activities and periodic Penetration Tests, both infrastructural and application-related. You will perform internal and cloud security analysis activities. You will support development for the application of best practices in terms of code security. You will help the Compliance and Governance department and the Pre-Sales department to answer all security-related questions that are requested by certifications or customers.
Main tasks and activities:
- Supporting the Information Security Specialist in all issues concerning IT security at corporate level starting from the software selection on the security side, passing through the security control of applications and corporate infrastructure, up to supporting the various departments on security issues
- Helping in the management of the corporate firewall by implementing necessary rules and optimising them in order to reduce the attack surface
- Performing internal Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests on both internal and cloud infrastructure in order to provide the relevant departments with a list of possible infrastructural improvements to be implemented
- Helping in the management of external providers for Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Test issues
- Support IT and the Information Security Specialist on security issues of corporate devices, both PC/server and mobile
- Support in the configuration and management of IT security software (e.g. antivirus, email security, etc.)
- Support the Sales and Pre-sales functions on IT and application security issues and help them in the compilation of SAL/RFPs requested by customers
The ideal candidate will have gained the key below skills:
- Diploma/Master’s degree in computer science
- Basic knowledge of networking (Firewall)
- Basic system knowledge of Windows and Linux
- Problem solving skills
- Analytical approach
- Ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of the English language (minimum level B1)
