"Information Security Policy | ISO 27001 and extensions ISO 27017, ISO 27018, and ISO 27035"
With a view to strategic positioning, as a leading company in the specific departmental systems we develop and with the objective of expanding from the Italian to the foreign market, Akeron’s top management deemed it necessary to adopt an Information Security Management System (ISMS) with the aim of defining and monitoring the company’s processes relating to the management of personnel and customer data, the design, development, sale and support of software solutions and application consultancy services, projecting them towards continuous improvement, in order to continuously increase the security of its systems, increase the trust and, consequently, the satisfaction of its customers and all stakeholders, taking into account the relevant expectations and requirements.
The Information Security Management System (ISMS) therefore governs the methods of access, use, and transfer of data related to personnel, software products, and services offered by Akeron, including management, monitoring, and control procedures, risk assessment, stakeholder requirements, and everything that impacts data security.
Akeron’s Top Management, considering the context in which the organization operates, particularly the target market and competitor analysis, defines, in support of its strategic directions and objectives, the “Information Security Policy” (POL-ISO-27001).
It determines:
- The importance of implementing synergistic actions with various stakeholders to enhance the propagation of security best practices;
- The focus on the continuous improvement of processes in terms of technology and functionality aimed at strengthening security;

- The importance of consolidating new development strategies by considering opportunities, risks, and the impact of these strategies on achieving the set objectives while defining effective prevention actions;
- The commitment to providing all the necessary resources for the correct execution of processes, infrastructure, work environment, and personnel (identifying key individuals for activity development and correctly forming the team);
- Achieving the most appropriate level of information protection while also considering the best economic and management efficiency;
- Ensuring maximum transparency to all stakeholders in communicating events that have impacted the relevant data.
Constantly referring to the above objectives, Top Management is committed to:
- Identifying the needs and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders and committing to meet the identified requirements;
- Spreading within Akeron the adopted Information Security Policy, containing business strategies that serve as a reference framework for defining security objectives, ensuring it is available to stakeholders and continuously updated according to context vulnerabilities;
